EXCITING CHANGES HAPPENING IN 2023

We are pleased to announce RECC (Rath Eastlink Community Centre) as the exclusive management company appointed to enhance live entertainment initiatives at the historic Bible Hill Exhibition Grounds.

This partnership marks a significant milestone for both parties, as it reflects a shared vision for tourism growth, community development, and agricultural showcasing. The Bible Hill Exhibition Grounds have long been a cherished landmark in the Central Nova Scotia region, hosting agricultural fairs, community events, and cultural celebrations for over a century. RECC is a trusted organization with a positive reputation as a leader in event and sports attraction, recreational and community services bringing a wealth of expertise and resources to the table.

This collaboration will undoubtedly enhance the experience for exhibitors, visitors, and the community at large. A series of ongoing improvements to modernize and enhance the facilities, brand, and infrastructure of the Bible Hill Exhibition Grounds are planned with the goal to create a more welcoming and accessible space for all, ensuring that it remains at the heart of community life.

Moreover, this partnership opens up a world of possibilities for a broader range of events and activities at the Bible Hill Exhibition Grounds. From trade shows and concerts to equestrian sports and festivals, the community can look forward to an expanded calendar of events that caters to all ages and interests.

Reflecting on the changes over the past few years at the NSPE Complex, we want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of staff, sponsors, local community groups and those involved in helping to create change.

We are pleased to say that the number of events we are hosting is growing and we are working hard on improving the facilities daily. We have hosted many new equestrian clinics in the newly renovated MacMillan Show Centre and are very pleased to have hosted Saltscapes, Harvest Greets the Holidays in November of 2019 in the Agridome and MacMillan. Our NSPE celebrated a great year in 2019 and after sadly having to cancel the 2020 and 2021 Ex due to Covid 19, we have big plans for 2021!

Another exciting addition to the NSPE Complex includes the new Farmhouse Bar & Grill, located in the MacMillan Show Center! We offer a 58 seating eat-in area with some delicious food choices. The Farmhouse is open for events held at the NSPE Complex as well as catering. We are getting rave reviews as having the “BEST FISH & CHIPS” in town.

We would like to thank the Village of Bible Hill and the Province of Nova Scotia for their continued support and encouragement. Our other community partners include the Bible Hill Kinsman, Truro Fire Brigade, Sorensen’s Electric, Ron Roode Masonry, Colchester 4-H and many others. Thank you to all!

Our team has been working hard to improve the facilities and we are pleased that the public are noting the improvements. We thank you all for your support and kind words.

We are taking bookings for our wait list for winter storage Oct. 30, 2021 to April 19, 2022.
