WHERE FUN BEGINS!

The Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition, a five-day event held each August in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, is regularly attended by more than 40,000 people, making it the single largest annual event in Colchester County.

"The EX", as it has been called from the beginning, includes a major 4-H show, beef and dairy shows, heavy horse pull, light horse show, rodeo, demolition derby, antique farm machinery displays and a wide range of agricultural and craft competitions.  Numerous commercial and non-commercial exhibits and demonstrations are set up for public access.

The Exhibition includes daily concert entertainment, and a midway creates a carnival-like atmosphere enjoyed by children and adults alike.

We'd like to remind everyone that the EX hosts many great events year-round on our facilities.  The Truro Raceway operates year-round with weekly live harness racing and daily simulcast races.  The new Agri-Dome provides a superb all-weather venue for many types of sports and show events.  And our newly-renovated NSPE Farm Equipment Museum is always a fascinating place to visit.
